Welcome to management updates! This is a place for us to document management changes and updates. Also, we want to help clients understand them easily. In the future, updates information will be readily accessible here. (docs.samuraippc.com/management-updates)

Now to start, a few things have been updated this week.

Zapier® powered Lead Forms extensions

Your Google Ads accounts have just got even better. Your Lead Form ad extensions are now fully powered by the world’s best web-hook solution, Zapier®. This integration allows your leads (only those coming from Lead Form ad extensions) to pass directly to your emails every time you receive a new lead from your ads. The email you will receive leads at will be the same one currently registered to your ads account.

Nothing needs to be changed from your side. We have set up the automation in your ad accounts, and by the time you read this, it’s already running.

So what are Lead Form ad extensions?

Think of it as a little form appearing on your ads; customers can fill it up without going to your site. This helps them save time, and many of the users will appreciate this feature. Previously (if enabled), the leads went to your ads account, and you had to check it daily and manually download it through your ads account. With our new update, it will now all get automatically delivered to your emails.

More leads + more convenience = better life!

Significant expansion to agency-level negative keyword lists

What’s the difference between agency-level negative keyword lists and account-level keyword lists? Agency-level are overarching keyword lists we use to exclude across dozens of clients’ accounts at scale. Whereas account-level negative keyword lists only live in your account and can only be applied to your campaigns.

When we combine these 2 levels of lists in your ads account, your search campaigns get the maximum protection and performance. In short, they become super-optimized.

The agency-level negative keyword lists help ensure your campaigns perform their best. We now maintain over 18 robust lists with over 5 thousand high-quality, vetted keywords. It’s a massive list and certainly one of the longest in the world.

However, quantity is only part of it. The longer the list, the harder it is to maintain, and subsequently, the risk of your positive keywords getting blocked by them.

Therefore every keyword has been analyzed before being added in. We will actively monitor your ad accounts after every “expansion” to prevent them from backfiring.

Negative keyword lists let you exclude search terms from your campaigns and help you focus on only the keywords that matter to your customers. This results in better ad targeting that allows put your ad only in front of interested users and increase your return on investment (ROI).

Our negative keyword lists are constantly updated, and you will certainly see more expansions moving forward.

In the future

We are looking to expand Zapier® integration to more useful things in the future. However, it’s still a work in progress and there are no guarantees.

Additionally, Google has recently announced that all Similar Audience segments will be removed by next year as part of their ongoing platform evolution and privacy-preserving stance. So your Customer Lists (Customer Data File) will play a primary importance next year.
